Here is another possibility:<\/p>\n<p>Reason meets often with Revelation to discuss current events. This is an ongoing, though not unbroken, discourse. One day, someone who <em>looks like<\/em> Revelation shows up and announces, &#8220;In heaven, parents are single!&#8221; Reason has been wrong before, so he is cautious about responding too quickly. Instead, he just stares, wondering, &#8220;Revelation, is that you?&#8221; (Of course, it isn&#8217;t Revelation, but an Imposter!)<\/p>\n<p>OK, I just made that up, and it made some sense to me until I remembered the next line of the hymn, which tells us, &#8220;Truth is reason, truth eternal.&#8221; But isn&#8217;t the first half of that line just patently false?
