(And, well, everyone else who is also matching up their bracket against mine.)<!--more-->Yes, it&#8217;s that time of year. \u00a0My own prefered vehicle for bracket beatdown is ESPN.com, which has a free bracket challenge option. \u00a0(Plus, if you beat out the other 50,000 people and have the best bracket in the country, you win 10 grand, or something like that. \u00a0A nice little bonus on the side.)\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If you feel up to the challenge, <a href=\"http:\/\/games.espn.go.com\/tcmen\/group?groupID=103567\">click here to join the group<\/a>. \u00a0(I put a password on, to keep the rifraff out. \u00a0Password is &#8220;Bannergate&#8221;). \u00a0You&#8217;ll need to register for a (free) ESPN.com user name if you don&#8217;t already have one.<\/p>\n<p>There is no office pool, because we are very very opposed to gambling here in Casablanca. \u00a0Instead, what is at stake is far more important &#8212; honor, glory, and bragging rights. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>May the best bracket win!<\/p>\n<p>(My own picks &#8212; ASU, UCLA, and Utah as mild upsets in the\u00a0Sweet 16; Western Kentucky and Miss State as cinderella longshots. \u00a0Utah State upsets Marquette but not Missouri, and BYU&#8217;s run ends when they hit a U-Conn shaped wall. \u00a0Memphis, UNC, Pitt, and Kansas make the final four, and Memphis takes it all.)<\/p>\n<p>Tell me that I&#8217;m wrong. \u00a0:)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I challenge you &#8212; all of you, collectively &#8212; to match up your bracket against mine.
