Not that there are a lot of new ideas on the topic, but it&#8217;s somewhat interesting to see the same ideas get kicked around again.  (See <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vodkapundit.com\/archives\/005586.php#005586\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beggingtodiffer.com\/archives\/2004_04.html#001092\">here<\/a>; see also <a href=\"http:\/\/timesandseasons.org\/archives\/000660.html\">Adam&#8217;s recent post on the same subject here<\/a>).  And, while I was noticing this little debate, I also noticed that one of the members of Begging to Differ is a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beggingtodiffer.com\/archives\/2003_10.html#000575\">self-identified Mormon <\/a>(who also, I should note, has stated that he does not intend to blog much about religion).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I just noticed the recent debate raging (again) in the blogosphere about baptism for the dead.
