Thus, while Julie will continue to blog for another week, we have a new guest blogger coming on board today: Susan Staker.<\/p>\n<p>Susan is a graduate of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.byu.edu\">BYU<\/a> (B.A.) and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.utah.edu\">University of Utah<\/a> (M.A.).  She is also ABD in literary theory from the University of Utah.  She is the co-author with Carol Cornwall Madsen of <i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/tg\/detail\/-\/0877477604\/qid=1080573536\/sr=8-1\/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl14\/104-1574254-6431105?v=glance&#038;s=books&#038;n=507846\">Sisters and Little Saints<\/a><\/i>, a history of the founding of the Primary.  (Amazon.com erroneously lists Madsen as the only author.)  Susan was one of the managing editors of <i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sunstoneonline.com\">Sunstone<\/a><\/i>1980s.  In addition, she is the editor of <i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/tg\/detail\/-\/1560851546\/qid=1080573779\/sr=1-1\/ref=sr_1_1\/104-1574254-6431105?v=glance&#038;s=books\">Mormon Mavericks<\/a><\/i>ection of biographical sketches on Mormon &#8220;rebels,&#8221; and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/tg\/detail\/-\/0941214923\/qid=1080573795\/sr=1-2\/ref=sr_1_2\/104-1574254-6431105?v=glance&#038;s=books\"><i>Waiting For World&#8217;s End<\/i><\/a>, which is an abridged version of Wilford Woodruff&#8217;s journal.  She is also the compiler of the index to Wilford Woodruff&#8217;s journals, which means that she is one of the few people on the planet who has read all 9 volumes of the journal cover to cover.  She has also published <a href=\"http:\/\/www.signaturebooks.com\/excerpts\/apocrypha.htm\">essays<\/a> in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sunstoneonline.com\/magazine\/index\/mag_author_master.asp?authorid=38046\">other forums<\/a>.  For many years she was an editor at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sunstoneonline.com\/magazine\/index\/mag_author_master.asp?authorid=38046\">Signature Books<\/a> and at one point in time served on the editorial board of the publisher.
