The girls were already in bed.  Went to change and convinced myself that I heard my littlest say &#8216;daddy.&#8217;  Went in and picked her up, she was awake, she was happy to see me.<\/p>\n<p>I sang her a lullaby I need to practice for the ward nativity.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Lullaby, lullaby, my little one.<br \/>\nLullaby, my child so dear.<br \/>\nThy precious life has just begun<br \/>\nThy mother holds thee near.<\/p>\n<p>While Joseph watches through the night,<br \/>\nA star reflects thy radiant light.<br \/>\nLullaby, lullaby, my little one.<br \/>\nLullaby, my child so dear.<\/p>\n<p>Thy gentle head shall wear a crown,<br \/>\nFor thy father is the King.<br \/>\nThy tender hands so tiny now,<br \/>\nHave blessings great to bring.<\/p>\n<p>Let all creation join my song,<br \/>\nFor peace and love this night are born.<br \/>\nLullaby, lullaby, my little one.<br \/>\nLullaby, my child so dear.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Strong emotion got me.  I realized that we Saints know what Christ is up to.  He aims to make this little girl of mine not just a Saint but Him.  The words of the song applied to her.  Some how I was holding a Messiah.<\/p>\n<p>I made it through to the end.
