For nearly three and half years, it’s always been there, collecting and commenting upon just about everything having to do with Mormon scholarship, history, politics, culture, theology and more, week after week, month after month. DMI has given us Bloggernacle and news feed round ups, endless book recommendations, smart and topical reviews, and some of the pithiest blogging around. And now DMI has given Times and Seasons (well, loaned rather, for a few weeks at least)…Dave himself.

David Banack is an attorney who lives and works in Orange County, California. He has a JD from the Chapman University School of Law, a Master’s in economics from UC Davis, and a BA in political science from BYU. He joined the LDS Church at age 15 as the first Mormon in his family, and subsequently served an mission to France and Switzerland. He is happily married with three talented kids. (No suprise there!) Besides running the Mormon Inquiry weblog since 2003, he also spent a little over a year in the trenches at BCC…but we won’t talk about that now.

Anyway, welcome Dave!
