The deadline for applications is March 31, 2016. The seminar is open to graduate students and recent PhDs who have research interests in Latter-day Saint readings of the New Testament.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>During this Seminar, participants will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Consult together about recent New Testament scholarship<\/li>\n<li>Read and comment on the volumes currently in progress, including Hebrews, Mark, and the Series Introduction<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with the authors of these and other volumes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The planned\u00a0schedule for the seminar is:<\/p>\n<p>July 5\u20138 Hebrews<br \/>\nJuly 11\u201315 Series Introduction Volume<br \/>\nJuly 18\u201328 Mark<\/p>\n<p>Work products that will result from this seminar will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Greek word studies<\/li>\n<li>Textual, contextual, intertextual, and translation notes<\/li>\n<li>Analytical commentaries on chapters or sections<\/li>\n<li>Short excurses or methodological comments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Seminar will culminate in a conference, where conference participants will be able to present material that they have produced during the seminar.<\/p>\n<p>A stipend of $2000 and a modest housing subsidy of $400 for single or $600 for family housing will be paid.
