Announcements of new bloggernacle blogs are about as rare as birth announcements in a student ward. Or dating melodrama in a singles ward. Or semi-apostate ramblings in your ward’s geriatric section<\/del> high priests group. Pick your metaphor. In any event, some recent new arrivals to the ‘nacle that I’ve noticed include:<\/p>\n

–Various Stages of Mormondom<\/a> looks interesting. Unweildy title aside (think Mahonri Moriancumr), it’s a new blog with “some Mormons, [s]ome former Mormons, [and s]ome In Betweens.” They’re also promising to post on a weekly schedule. If they can pull that feat off, proprieters of ad-hoc-schedule blogs everywhere will be green with envy. <\/p>\n

–Splendid Sun <\/a>is a new blog by Jonathan Stapley, who makes comments around here from time to time. Here’s a nice, lighthearted post about genocide <\/a>to start you out. <\/p>\n

-Longtime commenter Charles weighs in with his personal blog at Job 21:3<\/a>. It has a mix of church discussion, politics, and personal posts.<\/p>\n

–Thoughtful Spot <\/a>is a personal and book-related blog, with a bit of politics and current events mixed in. <\/p>\n

-It’s not really new, but I just recently noticed The Heather Show<\/a>, a blog by an articulate and creative young woman, about her life in general. <\/p>\n

-And finally, I would be quite remiss not to mention Out of the Best Books<\/a>, a new book-reviewing blog by an intelligent and lucid woman based out of Austin (whose name may seem familiar to T & S readers . . .).<\/p>\n
