But we aren&#8217;t going to talk about that right now; we&#8217;re going to talk about how to Mormon-Studies-geek out your ereader.  Here&#8217;s what I have found so far; I expect you to add to the fun.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lib.byu.edu\/digital\/\">Digital Collections<\/a> at the HBL Library has all manner of awesomeness, including out of print books from the Religious Studies Center, BYU Studies, the Woman&#8217;s Exponent, and the Journal of Discourses.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sunstonemagazine.com\/magazine\/\">Sunstone<\/a> has complete back issues for download.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dialoguejournal.com\/archive\/\">Dialogue<\/a> has complete back issues for download.<\/p>\n<p>This <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scrollandscreen.com\/biblestudyresources\/freehebrewgrammar.htm\">website<\/a> has a nice listing of materials for the study of Biblical Hebrew that you can download.<\/p>\n<p>I haven&#8217;t really looked at the Biblical Greek resources available, but <a href=\"http:\/\/misselbrook.org.uk\/GNT_Intro.aspx\">this<\/a> looks interesting.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.soniclight.com\/constable\/notes.htm\">This<\/a> is a decent bible commentary, considering how thorough and how free it is.  A little too conservative for me, which probably means a good fit for most of you.  ;)<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lds.org\/ldsorg\/v\/index.jsp?locale=0&#038;vgnextoid=3a9adc26cca8b010VgnVCM1000004d82620aRCRD\">Church<\/a> itself has a nice collection of official materials for download.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eugeneengland.org\/selected-writings\">Eugene England Foundation<\/a> has made a bunch of his writings available just this last week.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.signaturebookslibrary.org\/\"><br \/>\nSignature Books<\/a> has lots of great stuff, but I wish they&#8217;d make it easier to download.<\/p>\n<p>And, of course, all sorts of interesting old stuff is in the public domain, including the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.archive.org\/details\/autobiographyofp00prat\">Autobiography of Parley P. Pratt<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I can remember about two decades ago, sitting in my dorm room at UT and being enthralled by the arrival of a catalog&#8211;merely a few pages long&#8211;from Signature Books:  look at all of those titles!  For a mere $25 plus shipping each!  It is truly an amazing time for Mormon Studies geeks . . . the variety of materials, the fact that most of them are free and all of them are instantly available, even to those of us living in &#8220;the mission field.&#8221;  <\/p>\n<p>I swoon.<\/p>\n<p>And return to my reading.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I got a Kindle a few weeks ago, and my affection for it is quickly approaching idolatry.
