I have some really good news: At the Pulpit is being translated into Spanish and Portuguese and will be available on Gospel Library sometime in February or March 2018!

I ‘bared my teeth and growled,’ as it were. That kind of challenge was not called for.

I need reminding from time to time women, particularly women in the LDS church, are quite capable of articulating their own thoughts, and do not need men to speak for them.

Beyond that, I need reminding the Spirit of God does not filter by gender. Women can and do receive the gifts of the Spirit without being appointed to the priesthood. This necessarily means women can prophesy, as the Doctrine and Covenants points out speaking when influenced by the Holy Spirit is prophesy.

Only those who think like ancient Romans, that only men show virtus, living in this time and place, would ignore that which has been so plainly demonstrated.
