TEMPLE1

Here’s an image from ‘The Roof’ restaurant in the Joseph Smith Building. It’s a family tradition to eat there for special occasions, this one being my mission call. I always love the view.

  1. Thanks! No, I didn’t, though overlooking the Salt Lake temple would have been a great place. For my own reasons, I decided to depart from modern Mormon tradition and open my mission call in a secluded place, by myself.

  2. I took a similar picture two nights ago and sent it to my office in Denver. My secretary wrote back and said, “That’s the temple? I didn’t know it was so beautiful.
