A Mormon Image: Baptism

I took my daughter out to get some pictures taken the week before her baptism. While I was shooting my wife was asking her how she felt about the upcoming event. We’d been talking about it for a while, and she actually wasn’t sure about it. The first time she mentioned she didn’t know if she wanted to get baptized I felt a little panic. Then I actually felt good about it. Maybe I was just reassuring myself, but it made me feel like she was serious about the decision when she told us she wanted to be baptized. I did the same thing when I decided to go on a mission, thinking about the long-term effect it would have on my life until finally deciding and putting in my papers (forgetting to even tell my parents what I’d decided). The third picture is her describing why she finally decided she wanted to do it.
