Alright, to lay just a few things straight. I served as a missionary Hull less then a year ago and knew Minnie Ronson, Mick’s mother, very well (she’s the best missionary mom ever!). From my conversations I had with her it didn’t sound like Mick was too active at the time of his death though from what she said he still believed in the churches teachings. Also his father George was never a member of the church .

Mick Ronson, actually played with Bowie for 4 years. From
1970-74. You also failed to mention his amazing contribution
to both Aladdin Sane & Pinups…both released at the height of the Ziggy Mania in 1973.

This isn’t even as reliable as friend-of-a-friend, but here is something from a Sheffield history forum:
