Welcome, Seraphine

I’m happy to announce our latest guest blogger, a bloggernacle regular who currently posts mostly under the pseudonym Seraphine. And just who is Seraphine?

Seraphine is S. Snyder — a graduate student currently working on her dissertation. She is enrolled in a Ph.D. program in English and spends much of her time teaching undergraduate courses: literature, writing, Women’s Studies. An unspecified amount of her remaining free time is spent posting at Zelophehad’s Daughters and making thoughtful comments around the bloggernacle.

Seraphine’s track record of strong posts at ZD includes recent discussions of women, beauty, power, and sexism; scriptural and textual interpretation; models of priesthood and presiding; and gender, emotion, and spiritual sensitivity. Some of her favorite pasttimes include going to farmer’s markets, cooking, singing in choirs, and shopping for clothing on ebay.

Welcome aboard, Seraphine!

Hurray! What’s new Seraphine? And is that a cool “handle” or what?

I know that dissertation bit can be a real drag. But it really will come to an end one day! I hope you are enjoying it sometimes.
